Beef Stroganoff

½ Lb. mushrooms, fresh, sliced

1 lg. onion, chopped

¼ C butter

2 lbs. round steak, sliced ¼’’ x 2’’ long and ¾ ‘’ wide

1 T salt

1 10.5 oz can consommé

1 C sour cream

Sauté mushrooms and onions in 2 T butter and remove from pan.

Toss meat in flour, coating evenly. Melt 2 T butter in pan

And brown meat. Add salt and consommé and simmer until meat

is tender(about 1 ½ hour). Add mushrooms, onion and sour cream. Serve over noodles.
