Bread Pudding

1 qt.          Bread cubes or croutons
2 c              milk, scalded with   1/4 c butter or margarine  

1/2  c        sugar
2 eggs      slightly beaten   
1 t            cinnamon
1/2  c        raisins
1/4 t          salt
4 oz. can    pineapple chunks, diced  
1                apple, diced

Blend all ingredients. Place in a 1.5 –2 Qt, greased, baking dish.

Place baking dish in a pan of hot water with water at least 1" deep.

Bake at 350º 40 to 45 minutes or until a table knife inserted 1" from the edge comes out clean.

Drizzle with a good Lemon or Hot Rum Sauce.
