Chili Sauce
                                                            uncooked (like chutney)
                                                                         Maybelle Lincoln Depew
                                                                      from the late 30s or early 40s

Grind up:
24 large tomatoes
4   large green peppers
2   large red peppers
6   large onions
   then add
1 cup of salt

3 cups of white or 2 cups of brown sugar
1/2 tsp  cayenne pepper
5 cups of white vinegar
1 Tbsp.  mustard seed
1 Tbsp.  celery salt

    Grind up the first four ingredients  (meat grinder..small holes) mix in the salt and let stand over night.
Then put in bag and let it drip & squeeze  out all the moisture possible and add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well and seal.  Keeps well in ice box.
