Crabmeat Appetizer

This has been a hit for over 30 years.



1 8oz. pkg.     cream cheese      
1 6 oz. can    crabmeat, well drained
1/3 C    slivered almonds
2 T        chopped onion       
1 T         milk          
 
¼ t    salt
½ t    horseradish
dash of    pepper

Combine all ingredients except almonds, mixing well.
Spoon mixture into an ovenware dish and bake 15 minutes @ 375º.      Sprinkle with almonds before serving and serve warm.
Serve with Ritz or party Rye. Erma Schuppert served it in seashells.
