John's Beef Macaroni

1 lb.        ground beef
1 med.       onion, chopped
1            bell pepper, green, chopped
1/3 c        ketchup
1/2 c        ketchup
2 T          A-1 Sauce
1 can        cream of mushroom soup
1 16oz.can    diced stewed tomatoes
             salt and pepper to taste
8 oz.        small elbow macaroni
1 1/2 c       grated cheddar cheese

    Brown meat in a little oil over high heat. Reduce heat, add onion and bell pepper and saute.
Add steak sauce, ketchup and tomatoes with juice and simmer 20 minutes
While meat mixture is simmering, cook the macaroni, rince, drain and return to the pot.
Add meat mixture to the macaroni, fold in soup and add 1/2 c ketchup.  Salt and pepper to taste and mix well/
Place the mixture in a 2 quart casserole dish, top with cheese and bake, uncovered, at 350 for about 25 minutes.
