Kielbasa Hot Dish

1 lb.    kielbasa, cut to bite size pieces
4 med  potatoes, peeled and quartered
4  lg  carrots, cleaned and sliced to 1 inch pieces
1 small cabbage, quartered
2 cups   water

2 T    each, flour, packed brown sugar & vinegar
1 t  dry mustard
1/2 t    salt
1/8 t pepper

    Place first five ingredients in a large saucepan,  cover and cook (medium) 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  Using a slotted spoon, place kielbasa and veggies on a platter and keep warm.  Reserve broth.

    Combine 3/4 c broth with the last six ingredients and, stirring constantly,  simmer until thickened.
Pour sauce over kielbasa and veggies and serve.

        This sauce is so good we try to double the recipe if there is enough broth.
