Pammi’s Green Grape Salad

One of the nice people I met in the AOL Food Chat Room was Pam or Pammi. She had two interesting recipes she shared with me. One was a Pot Roast recipe and the other is this interesting Green Grape Salad, she made by accident one time. I read the recipe and thought "..that doesn’t sound like much…".  I couldn't imagine the taste by just reading it. But, she said it was really good so we tried it.

It’s here because it’s a winner.
We loved it and so did some of our neighbors when I let them try it.   It has a blend of flavors that is just unique.

I used a gooood amount of brown sugar and toasted the walnuts.

This is just the way I got it from Pammi.

3 lbs. of washed/dried green grapes

  1. 8 oz. bar of cream cheese
  1. 8 oz. tub of sour cream

1 tsp. Vanilla

¼ c of sugar

Cream the last four ingredients VERY well by mixer. Add the dry grapes (if they are wet the mixture won’t stick well).

Sprinkle over the top, a good handful of brown sugar and chopped pecans or walnuts. We prefer walnuts.

Serve in a wide pasta bowl. If using a tall trifle dish, make 2 layers so some brown sugar and nuts are in the center as well as the top.

Enjoy!
