Brazilian Rice

4 c                   cooked rice
1 c                    milk
1 lb.                  cheddar cheese, sharp, shredded
4                       eggs
1 10  oz pkg      spinach, frozen/chopped -well drained. VERY WELL DRAINED
4 T                    butter, melted
2 t                      salt
1 pinch              thyme & marjoram
                
                             Pre-heat oven to 375º (unless preparing ahead of time)
    Combine eggs, milk and seasonngs. Add cheese, spinach and rice. Mix well and place in a greased 3 qt. casserole. 
(At this point you may refrigerate, covered, up to 24 hours.
If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before baking)

Dot butter on top and bake, in pre-heated oven, uncovered, for  35 – 40 minutes.
