Spiced Nuts

4  cups of large pecan halves
1  egg white - extra large is better
 1 T     water

1/2  c  sugar
1  t   cinnamon
3/4  t   salt
1/4 t  ground nutmeg

1/8 t  ground cloves

                            Pre-heat oven to 300

    In a separate bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmet and cloves.   Set aside.
        In a mixer, using the whisk attachment, beat one egg white until foamy. Add water and beat to soft peaks.  Add nuts and stir until nuts are completely coated.
     Pour dry ingredients over the nuts and toss gently to completely cover.
Spread on a cookie sheet (you could line it with foil) and bake at 300 for 30 minutes, stirring often.  Spread on waxed paper or another cookie sheet to cool
